2025-2026 FOCUS

We will continue with our math journey next year building our computational fluency skills and our understanding of our key math vocabulary.  We will also delve deeper into looking at the engagement and confidence of our students while working with numeracy concepts. We are hoping to work with our Numeracy Learning Consultant in order to support and strengthen the confidence of our teachers and our students. 

Our Next Steps

• Continue deepening our understanding and use of rich numeracy tasks so that students can feel confident and enjoy math learning opportunities. 

• Continue to use our vocabulary cards to strengthen and embed common math vocabulary across all grade levels to support a shared language.

• Create more opportunities for meaningful staff collaboration.

• Share a  dialogue around developing and handling school-wide math resources.
