We continue to develop our connections with each other as things open up more and more.  Our students became quite committed to showing care for each other and came up with the idea of having a "Attitude of Gratitude" wall.  Little notes of kindness and care for others when someone needed a little "pick me up."  Students could be seen coming to read the notes on a regular basis and choosing  one that spoke to them.  One student could be heard saying "I need this one today."  

NEXT STEPS:

The staff will be working together in September to finalize exactly where we want to go with our learning journey with our students.  Connections and care will be a priority so that with students having a safe and caring place to be where they feel connected to adults they work with, they will feel ready and self regulated in order to be able to fully and deeply learn.
