Our first sharing assembly took a closer look at the "I feel" words CONNECTED and ACCEPTED.

Students from divisions 2 and 10 developed a short video sharing their understanding of the importance of feeling connected and accepted. The buddy classes took their learning deeper by connecting their "I feel" words to the core competencies, specifically Personal and Social.

Students bridged their understanding with the core competencies as:

• I contribute to group activities that make my classroom, school, community and the natural world a better place

• With some direction, I can demonstrate respectful and inclusive behavior
