A Parent Advisory Council (PAC) helps strengthen the connection between families and the school community by providing opportunities for parents and guardians to share perspectives, support school activities and contribute to a positive school experience for students. Their role is advisory, while decisions about the management and operation of the school remain the responsibility of the school district and school administration.
A PAC is established for the school and conducts its affairs through elected officers and bylaws, under section 8 of the School Act.
